Stony Brook is the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in Suffolk County, caring for the most severe emergencies. The doctors in our dedicated pediatric emergency medicine division are available 24/7 to provide the most advanced pediatric emergency care.

With services including a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), pediatric cardiology and pediatric anesthesiology, we’re able to provide children with uninterrupted care in their own community.
