2015 Healthcare Advertising Awards

For the second time in four years, Stony Brook Children’s Hospital has won national Best of Show in the nation’s oldest and largest healthcare marketing awards competition.

Stony Brook Children’s “Inquisikids” TV campaign took top honors in the category of “television advertising – series” in the 32nd annual Healthcare Advertising Awards competition sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report magazine. The competition drew more than 3,500 entries from across the United States and multiple foreign countries, making it one of the 10 largest advertising awards competitions in the nation.

A national panel of judges reviewed entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. The judges recognized 17 entrants with the Best of Show designation, for their overall excellence and breakthrough advertising. Gold awards were awarded to 348 entries and silver awards to 305 entries. Additionally, bronze awards were given to 267 entries.

The Stony Brook Children’s TV campaign received a gold award, while online advertising for the Pediatric ER received a gold award in the category of “online display.”

In 2012, Stony Brook Children’s also took Best of Show honors for a television campaign featuring emotional testimonials of mothers whose children received lifesaving care at the hospital.
