Stony Brook Children's Services is offering Telehealth services which will allow our patients to receive our high-quality care from the safety and privacy of their home.

If you have already booked a Telehealth visit and have questions about connecting to Microsoft Teams for your visit, please call one of our representatives at (631) 638-0597 Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. HIV Prevention Program

The HIV Prevention Program aims to stop the transmission of HIV.  It serves HIV negative individuals of all ages.

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP):

  • Prevents HIV with a once daily pill.
  • Provides PrEP screening for HIV negative individuals
  • Medical case management to HIV negative patients on PrEP
  • Community education and outreach

Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) - Prevent HIV after potentially being exposed to HIV.

  • Provides assessments and prescriptions for HIV PEP.
