The Division of Pediatric Allergy/Immunology is committed to upholding the highest medical standards, and is fully accredited and certified. Dr. Schuval is a Fellow of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. In 2014, Stony Brook Children's was approved as one of 11 Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) Specialty Care Centers certified by the New York State Department of Health. Dr. Schuval was named as a Newsday Top Doctor in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
