The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology currently has several research projects currently in progress, including a study on the Effect of Pubertal Suppression and/or Cross Sex Steroid Therapy on Depression and Quality of Life in Transgender Youth and Young Adults, a study of the Changes in BMI that occur with Hormonal Transition in Transgender Youth, and a study on the Effect of Closed Hybrid Loop Insulin Pump Therapy on Glycemic Control in Pediatric Patients with Type 1 Diabetes Aged Less than 7 years. 

Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Training Program
The pediatric endocrinology division hosts a fellowship program that was recently re-accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). This program trains pediatricians in endocrinology.
