Stony Brook Children's Services is offering Telehealth services which will allow our patients to receive our high-quality care from the safety and privacy of their home.

If you have already booked a Telehealth visit and have questions about connecting to Microsoft Teams for your visit, please call one of our representatives at (631) 638-0597 Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. Advances and Recognition

Carolyn Milana, MD, is the Medical Director for Quality for Stony Brook Children’s. She leads interdisciplinary teams to provide quality improvement initiatives and evaluate and develop programs to improve quality indices and trends in patient care outcomes throughout the Children’s Hospital. Stony Brook University Hospital has an exceptionally strong quality management program with excellent infrastructure and systems for monitoring and improving patient care quality outcomes.

Stony Brook Children’s is a member of Solutions for Patients Safety, a national organization focused on ensuring that children receive safe care and zero harm while in a hospital’s care. This organization has helped to reduce in-hospital infections, medication errors, injuries from falls and immobility and 7-day readmission rates among others.
