Our Team

The Pediatric Urology team includes fellowship-trained and board-certified pediatric urology subspecialists. Dr. Robert Wasnick is the Chief of Pediatric Urology, and has been named a Best Doctor in New York by Castle Connolly for many years. He was the first board-certified pediatric urologist in Suffolk County and, now along with Dr. Ezekiel Young, they continue to be the only pediatric urologists based in Suffolk County. Dr. Wasnick and Dr. Young have won numerous awards, published many research articles and textbook chapters, and are reviewers for the Journal of Pediatric Urology, as well as other important academic journals in the field.

Because of the multidisciplinary nature of the field, our urologists work closely with other departments at Stony Brook Children's including Pediatric Nephrology, General Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Pediatric Radiology and the Pediatric Emergency Department.
