Annual Kids Health & Safety Expo was a Home Run!
Thursday, June 16 was a fun-filled, family-friendly night at Stony Brook Children’s Fourth Annual Kids Health & Safety Expo and Long Island Ducks game at Bethpage Ball Park.
Hundreds of Expo attendees received free first-aid kits along with important health and safety tips, demos and information from Stony Brook experts, and plenty of fun activities. The ballgame, featuring the Ducks versus the New Britain Bees, started at 6:10 with the first pitch thrown by our own Dr. Rahul Panesar, accompanied by his family. The Ducks defeated the Bees 3 to 1.
As Suffolk County's only children's hospital, the health of children and their families is our number one concern. We hope everyone learned from our experts and kicked off the start of a healthy summer!
