The Epic High-Five

On April 9th, 2022, The Long Island Cranx Foundation will embark on:  “THE EPIC HIGH-FIVE “ ultra-endurance mountain bike ride in support of Stony Brook’s Children’s Hospital Child Life Services and the Pediatric Emergency Department Expansion project.

All donations will be going directly to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital programs where heroic essential workers strive to support, aid and heal the wonderful children in our Suffolk County, New York community.

Our collaborative efforts will improve pediatric programs that require MRI video goggles, pet therapy, medical play, toys, books, and games. In addition, our 5-year fundraising pledge will further develop the Pediatric Emergency Department. This project will double the number of patient exam rooms and pediatric emergency specialists.

On behalf of SBCLP & LICF, We thank you!!

The “EPIC HIGH FIVE”: Our traditional early start at 4 am Saturday morning, (April 9th) riders will endure 5 Grueling laps on the Glacier Ridge/Overton Trail System ever-popular and technical mountain bike trails on Long Island’s Glacial Moraine.

Glacier Ridge Trail and Overton Trail combined, (known as GROT) measures up to a hefty 30 miles per lap.  Estimated times of completion are projected from at least 14 hours to 24 hours in which riders will enter mental states of transcendence while keeping pediatric patient fighters close to our hearts!

This 30-mile trail system has never been done 5 times in one day…

Join us and sponsor the team.
